The Warren County Chamber of Commerce was originally incorporated in 1979 as the Hackettstown Chamber of Commerce. The organization went through several incarnations before reaching its current status as a regional entity serving not only Warren County businesses but also representatives from neighboring Sussex and Hunterdon counties.
In 2004, the Chamber moved into its current home at 10 Brass Castle Road in Washington and under the direction of President/CEO Robert Goltz is thriving in its efforts to support, grow and maintain Warren County businesses.
“The Chamber is a growing entity because the board of directors and membership has a vision of a strong business community,” said Goltz. “Knowing this, the Chamber has expanded its programs and services to meet individual member’s needs. Also, the organization has taken advantage of opportunities that have opened up in the community to promote and strengthen the business climate.”
The Chamber has established relationships with educational, community, government and civic organizations. It has incorporated into its plan the establishment of business councils that are focused on individual communities. These currently include the Belvidere/Hope Council, Hackettstown Area Council, Phillipsburg Area Council, North Warren and Warren Hills Council. In 2007, the Chamber opened a Phillipsburg office to better serve the needs of businesses in the southernmost past of the county.
Incorporated into the Chamber are the Warren County Economic Development Corporation (

The Chamber also reaches out to the businesses – large and small – with a comprehensive agenda of seminars, networking events and links to education and training opportunities.
The Warren County Regional Chamber of Commerce will continue to expand and meet the needs of Warren County and the surrounding areas. The Chamber’s strength is in its leadership and the vision of its members – so there is no limit to what the future holds in store.
