Welcome to the Chamber

LEADERSHIP WARREN 2011-2012 Program Open for Candidates

What does it take to be a leader? The Warren County Regional Chamber of Commerce LEADERSHIP WARREN Program enables participants to hone their leadership skills, network with their peers and develop the tools needed to take their careers and personal goals a step further. The series of workshops, on-site visits and physical challenges is designed to build relationships, and inspire ideas and solutions while offering an in depth look at the workings of Warren County.
“Leadership Warren was a wonderfully rewarding and exciting activity,” said Dr. Steven McHugh, Centenary College Professor and Leadership Warren alumni. “ I learned an amazing amount of valuable information and had the opportunity to visit with remarkable individuals and organizations throughout Warren County.”
Class of 2005 graduate, Monika Hamburger of ComForcare Senior Services, commented, “I formed close ties with the other participants. You get to see each other in action. You gain a healthy respect for a person’s professionalism and how he or she thinks.”
The Leadership Warren Program is open to all members of the business community who live and/or work in Warren County. This year’s program will kick off on September with an overnight retreat. Classes will meet the second Thursday of each month through June of 2012.
“Leadership Warren requires a commitment, but the rewards are well worth the effort and time spent,” said Robert Goltz, President and CEO of the Warren County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Applications will be accepted through July 15, 2011. Space is limited. Leadership Warren applications are available at the Warren County Regional Chamber of Commerce office, 10 Brass Castle Road, Washington NJ 07882 or from the website at www.leadershipwarren.com.
